The Malaysia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (MNZCC) is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our corporate member, Antipodean, on receiving top honours at the International Restaurant Awards, clinching the titles of Asia’s Best Café and Best Coffee Roastery in Malaysia.

Founded on strong Kiwi café values, Antipodean has successfully brought the essence of New Zealand’s vibrant coffee culture to Malaysia, with locations in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. These prestigious awards are a testament to Antipodean’s unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and the creation of community-centric spaces that resonate with both locals and expatriates alike.

The recent MNZCC breakfast meeting with H.E. Mike Walsh, High Commissioner of New Zealand, along with Reece Kurta (Chairman) and Esther Yap (Vice Chairman), was held at none other than this award-winning café and roastery in Kuala Lumpur. It was a warm and engaging session — a true reflection of the Kiwi spirit thriving within Malaysia’s dynamic café scene.
